Infant/Toddler Unit
The Infant/Toddler Unit at A Children's Place includes
a nursery and individual classrooms for crawlers, toddlers,
senior toddlers and 2-year-olds. The activities
provided to children in each classroom varies according
to the developmental levels of the children in that
classroom. Our staff members use activities that focus
on your child's physical, intellectual, emotional and
social development. These activities include singing,
reading, crafts, art and the introduction of colors.
Infants in our nursery spend most of their day eating
and sleeping, according to each child's needs. When
your child isn't sle eping,
our staff members interact with them and make them
feel loved.
In our crawlers classroom, we adapt the schedule to
each child's needs but introduce more activities to
stimulate the childrens' interest.
We have a structured schedule with our classrooms for
toddlers, senior toddlers and 2-year-olds. This includes
creative activities, exercise activities and circle
time, which involves singing, reading, identifying colors
and numbers and practicing the letters of the alphabet.
Breakfast and lunch are provided to all students as
is an afternoon snack following nap.
