The Hope Clinic & Pharmacy is a partnership of
Ephraim McDowell Health, Heart of Kentucky United Way,
the Salvation Army and the Boyle County Health Department. Clinic
services are provided each Monday and Thursday from
5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Boyle County Health Department,
located at 448 South Third Street. Pharmacy services
are provided from the Outpatient Pharmacy located on
the ground floor at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical
Center.
In order to receive services, individuals must not
be covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance
and must be at least 150 percent or less of federal
poverty guidelines.
Screenings to determine an individual’s eligibility
for clinic services will be provided at the Salvation
Army, located at 519 South Fourth Street in Danville. Referrals
for screening eligibility may be made by calling the
Salvation Army at (859)236-4473.
The Hope Clinic & Pharmacy serves individuals
residing in Boyle, Casey, Garrard, Lincoln, Mercer
and Washington counties who have the following chronic
illnesses:
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
- Type II diabetes
- Obesity
- GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)
Individuals will be seen at the clinic by appointment
only. Walk-ins are not accepted.
The Hope Clinic’s volunteer medical director
is James D. Duncan, M.D. Services are provided
by Audrey Darville, A.R.N.P., a certified family nurse
practitioner, and other volunteer professionals. |
