Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center Auxiliary purchases cellphone charging stations

January 7, 2019 – Danville, Kentucky – The Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center (EMRMC) Auxiliary recently purchased six new cellphone charging stations that have been placed in patient and family waiting areas throughout the Medical Center.  The donation of these chargers represents the deep commitment of the EMRMC Auxiliary to improving the patient and family experience.

“Many times, families don’t plan to be in the hospital, and when they do end up at the hospital unexpectedly, their cellphone is their only line of communication.  Being able to offer a reliable means to charge their cellphone is a way for us to help them in a difficult time,” says Deb Bottoms, EMRMC Auxiliary president.

The cellphone chargers are designed with ease in mind, as they are compatible with many different kinds of cellphones and offer quick charging.
