Coming Soon: Changes to Outpatient Pharmacy Parking & Traffic Flow at EMRMC
As preparations begin for upcoming construction projects at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, changes to outpatient pharmacy parking and traffic patterns will begin in August. A specific implementation date will be announced soon.
Outpatient Pharmacy Parking Relocation
To accommodate construction, the current 15-minute Outpatient Pharmacy pickup parking spaces in front of the Main Entrance on S. Third Street will be unavailable for approximately two months.
New designated pharmacy parking will include:
- 15-minute Outpatient Pharmacy parking will be located along Martin Luther King Boulevard, which is immediately to the right when turning from S. Third Street, providing convenient access for quick prescription pickup.
- Accessible (handicap) Outpatient Pharmacy parking located under the drive-through canopy on the south end of the campus near Figg Alley for patients requiring accessible access.
Please watch for new signage directing patients to these designated parking areas.
S. Third Street Traffic Changes
In addition, S. Third Street will transition to one lane of traffic as work begins to prepare the campus for construction. Drivers should expect minor delays and use caution when traveling through the area.
