Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital nurse recognized for extraordinary service

February 6, 2019 – Danville, Kentucky – Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital (EMJBHH) is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care.  Paisley Carey Bustle, RN, a nurse in the Emergency Department, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award.  A resident of Mercer County, Paisley has been caring for patients at EMJBHH for the past 4 years.

She was nominated for the award by a co-worker that said, “Paisley goes above and beyond daily with patient care and interaction with co-workers.  Even during periods of high stress, she shows positivity and reacts professionally.  Paisley is a great example as to what it means to be a nurse and is a great role model to those around her.”

Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day.  Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital and Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital.
