May 15, 2019 – Danville, Kentucky – Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital (EMJBHH) is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care.  Kelli Griffin, BSN, RN, SANE, a nurse in the Emergency Department, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award.  A resident of Mercer County, Kelli has been caring for patients at EMJBHH for the past 14 years.

She was nominated for the award by a co-worker that said, “Kelli is by far one of the best nurses I have ever worked with. Her bedside care and attentiveness to both patients and their family members is exceptional. She always portrays a positive attitude toward patients, families and co-workers. It is an absolute joy to work with her and I would ask her to care after one of my own family members in a heartbeat.”
