Ephraim McDowell Eye & Vision Center welcomes ophthalmologist, Manan Sampat, M.D., to the staff.  He has joined the practice with Dr. Barton Ramsey and Dr. Denise Dobbins, located at 1541 Lebanon Road in Danville.

Dr. Sampat is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a particular interest in the medical and surgical management of refractive error, dry eye disease, cataracts, glaucoma and diabetic eye disease among other eye problems.  He attended medical school at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and then completed a Transitional Year internship at the Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He then underwent dedicated ophthalmology training at the renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai in New York City. Dr. Sampat is excited to join Ephraim McDowell and serve the central Kentucky community.

Dr. Sampat lives in Nicholasville with his wife and children. During his free time, he enjoys playing with his children, reading and reflecting on Vedic scriptures.
