Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center (EMRMC) has been recognized for the high quality care given to its female patients and has received the Women’s Choice Award^® from WomenCertified Inc., recognizing it as one of the 2021 Best Hospitals for patient experience in orthopedic care.

Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center was in the top 9% of 4,542 hospitals in the nation.  The Medical Center garnered the award based on the analysis of hospital data submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding orthopedic care.
