Ephraim McDowell Behavioral Health welcomes Teresa McIlvoy, PMHNP. Teresa will join Dr. Stuart Larson, Lee Ann Hunt, LCSW, and Samantha Goodlett, PMHNP on January 3.

Teresa is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, specializing in the treatment of psychiatric/mental health illnesses.  She has expertise in the care of outpatient mental health needs across the lifespan, with a special interest in the treatment of children and adolescents.  She is qualified and experienced in treating illnesses including ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.  Teresa strives to provide her patients with the best care possible and experience positive outcomes for all their mental health needs.  

Teresa lives in Springfield with her husband, Terry, and two dogs.  They have four sons, Alex, Nick, Matthew and Cody, two daughters-in-law and five grandchildren from ages 2 months to 13 years.  During her free time, she enjoys singing and playing the piano at church, baking, working outdoors and spending time with her family.
