Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital nurse recognized for extraordinary service

Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital (EMFLH) is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care.  Kelli Lange, a nurse in the Obstetrics Unit at EMFLH, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award.  A resident of Casey County, Kelli has been caring for patients at EMFLH for three years.

She was nominated by a patient who said, “Kelli did a phenomenal job after the birth of our first child.  She really did a great job answering all of our questions.  She was very attentive when we needed anything.  She helped take care of our baby when we needed rest and gave us little details of what to do to keep her happy, which we really appreciated.  We have had the best experience here at Fort Logan.”

Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day.  Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital and other Ephraim McDowell facilities.
