Their unwavering commitment to the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation reaffirmed the community’s dedication to ensuring quality healthcare for all.
The Luminosity Gala was made even more poignant by the presence of two VIP guests, Keeley Diaz (18) and Amelia “Millie” Forker (6), both patients of Ephraim McDowell Health’s, Kids Can Do Pediatric Therapy Center. Their parents took the stage to share heartfelt testimonials about how the foundation’s support has directly impacted their lives. The foundation’s contributions, including adaptive tricycles and various medical needs, have empowered Keeley, Amelia, and their families to overcome challenges and embrace brighter futures. Following the testimony, a gift of $5,000 was given in Keeley’s name from her church at McKinney Baptist.
The gala also featured a live and silent auction, showcasing an array of luxury items, art, and unique experiences. Bidders vied for these coveted items, contributing to the overall fundraising efforts of the evening totaling just over $70,000.
