Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital nurse recognized for extraordinary service

Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital (EMFLH) is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care.  Janna Otto, a nurse in the Medical/Surgical Unit at EMFLH, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award.  A resident of Lincoln County, Janna has been caring for patients at EMFLH for 19 years.

She was nominated by a coworker who said, “Janna is one of the most compassionate and caring nurses on Acute Care. She is always willing to help others even if the patient is not hers. Janna always answers call lights and helps with patient care. Janna also stays calm in all situations and always knows just what to do. If someone deserves the Daisy Award it’s Janna Otto!”

Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day.  Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital and other Ephraim McDowell facilities.
