Lisa Richards Buis, APRN, has joined the staff at Ephraim McDowell Central Kentucky Surgeons in Danville. She is providing support services for the general surgeons at the practice.

Lisa earned her associate degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2005.  She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 from Indiana Wesleyan University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2019.  She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Lisa is excited and honored to begin providing care to surgical patients in Danville. Lisa lives in Middleburg and in her free time she enjoys traveling, working on her farm, and spending time with family and friends.
