Kentucky Trust Company Presents Annual Gift to Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation, Celebrating 25 Years of Giving

Kentucky Trust Company (KTC) presented a $12,000 gift to the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation (EMHCF) during a recent check presentation, marking 25 years of philanthropic support and a lifetime investment of $112,000 in local health care.

For more than two decades, Kentucky Trust Company’s generosity has helped strengthen patient care, expand access to critical services, and support programs that directly impact individuals and families throughout the region.

“Kentucky Trust Company’s commitment to Ephraim McDowell Health spans 25 years, and their consistent generosity has made a meaningful difference for the patients and communities we serve,” said Nick Spoonmore, Administrator of Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. “We are deeply grateful for their continued trust and partnership in advancing quality health care close to home.”

The gift will support the Foundation’s Good Works Fund, which allows the Foundation to address emerging needs across the Ephraim McDowell Health system and ensure resources are available where they are needed most.

“Our relationship with the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation has always been rooted in service and a shared commitment to community,” said Alan Turbyfill, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kentucky Trust Company. “Over the past 25 years, we have been proud to support the Foundation’s mission and the vital role it plays in delivering compassionate, accessible health care to the people of this region.”

Kentucky Trust Company is a long-standing Foundation Champion sponsor, supporting key Foundation initiatives and events, including the annual Golf Scramble, Happy Heart Day, and Luminosity. Founded in 1995 as an independent trust company, Kentucky Trust Company became a subsidiary of Whitaker Bank in 2011. The Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to Kentucky Trust Company for 25 years of generosity, partnership, and lasting impact on the health of the communities it serves.
