This event is part of celebrating Donate Life Month, an initiative to promote the life-saving mission of organ, tissue, and eye donation and encourage community members to register as donors.
Prior to the flag raising, a moment of silence will be held. At 1 p.m., the Donate Life flag will be raised to symbolize the hope and unity of organ donation.

A Legacy of Hope: The Donate Life Flag
First introduced in 2006, the Donate Life flag has become a national symbol of remembrance, unity, and hope, honoring those whose lives have been touched by donation and transplantation. Since its introduction, more than 50,000 Donate Life flags have been flown across the country, serving as a visible reminder of the lives saved through organ, tissue, and eye donation.
Join the Mission: Register as an Organ Donor
More than 108,000 men, women and children await a lifesaving organ transplant. One organ donor can save up to eight lives. Anyone with a driver’s license, state ID, or phone number can register as a donor, regardless of age, health, gender, or ethnicity.
Community members are encouraged to register as donors at RegisterMe.org or when renewing their driver’s license, state ID, or hunting license.
