Ephraim McDowell Health (EMH) has made a significant investment in advanced cancer care technology with the addition of a PET scanner at the Ephraim McDowell Commonwealth Cancer Center in Danville.

A PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scan is an imaging test that helps physicians see how organs and tissues are functioning inside the body.
