Ephraim McDowell Health will host a free mid-year health-screening event at the McDowell Wellness Center on July 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  

Screenings offered include cholesterol, A1C, blood pressure, mental health assessments, body composition, and take home colorectal cancer screening kits for individuals over age 45. After completing the screenings, participants can review their results with a licensed health professional.

“Summer is the perfect time to check in on your health and wellness goals,” said Dee Minor, McDowell Wellness Center Director. “Whether you’re managing a chronic condition or simply curious about your current health status, these screenings can provide important insight and resources.”
