Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center (EMRMC) is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care. Febie Bartolome, a 5T nurse, was one of many nominated for the DAISY Award. A Danville resident, Febie has cared for patients at EMRMC for three years.
She was nominated by a visitor who said, “She was compassionate, empathetic, and kind. She spoke softly to us and answered any questions we had… She made us all comfortable during a very hard time. She went out of her way to keep my family comfortable in any way she could. I will never forget how great she was.”
Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day. Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital, and other Ephraim McDowell facilities. Nominations can also be accepted online at www.emhealth.org/awards/
