Annual AED Grant
Application Deadline: April, 1, 2026
Recipient Announcement: April 30, 2026
The Annual AED Grant supports organizations within our service area by providing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to enhance public safety and emergency preparedness.
Eligible counties include Boyle, Lincoln, Mercer, Washington, Casey, Marion, and Garrard.
One AED will be awarded per eligible county.

How to Apply for the AED Grant:
- Determine Eligibility: Your organization must have a physical location in at least one of our service areas (Boyle, Lincoln, Mercer, Washington, Casey, Marion or Garrard counties) and possess a valid EIN number.
- Complete the Application Form: To be considered for this grant, please fill out the online application form.
- Submit Before the Deadline: Ensure all applications, along with the required supporting documents, are submitted via the online application form above before April 1, 2026, for consideration.
About the Grant
The AED Grant is a significant part of our commitment to supporting and safeguarding our communities. By providing these life-saving devices, we aim to equip organizations with essential tools to handle cardiac emergencies effectively.
Selection Process
Applications are reviewed by a Foundation committee. Grant recipients will be announced on April 30, 2026. Selected organizations will be notified directly.

The Foundation was proud to award AED devices to the following organizations in 2025::
- Boyle County – Boyle County Public Library
- Washington County – Springfield/Washington County E-911
- Lincoln County – Journey Community Church
- Mercer County – Mercer County Chamber of Commerce
- Garrard County – Camp Dick Fire and Rescue
- Casey County – Liberty-Casey County Rescue Squad
