First visit. She was easy to talk with, explained things well and answered all my questions. Never did she seem rushed. Excellent care!

She is a caring and patient centered surgeon. My only suggestion is that I would have benefited from being called about my pathology report as soon as it was available. I was not informed for 3 weeks until my post op visit. Even though an earlier biopsy did not show a malignancy…my mind was playing the worst case scenario game and it would have given more peace of mind to know resection was likewise benign at an earlier time. I did not feel it was my responsibility to call for results but perhaps that’s how the office handles it. As a retired RN I think some caring person in the office should follow up with patients awaiting results. Thank you for listening. Mary Ballard

Dr Kolasa has been very informative and compassionate during my treatment for breast cancer. She also did an excellent job on my incision.
