Ephraim McDowell Health (EMH) is pleased to announce they have contracted with EmPact Midwest to provide walk-in care at Ephraim McDowell Walk-in & Primary Care in Danville. This contract is an extension of the existing arrangement EMH has with EmPact Midwest for emergency department staffing services. Ephraim McDowell Walk-in & Primary Care is undergoing this transformation to better meet the evolving healthcare needs of Boyle County and surrounding areas. As part of this transition, care will be delivered by experienced emergency department providers. Effective August 1, the clinic will transition from the existing providers to EmPact Midwest providers to provide convenient seven day a week walk-in care.

Patients of all ages can use walk-in care services for conditions such as fractures and sprains, laceration repairs, upper respiratory infections, nausea, vomiting, bronchitis/pneumonia, colds/cough/flu, fever, ear aches, eye infections, sports injuries, insect bites, and physicals. Primary care services will continue to be provided to individuals 18 years of age and older by Dr. Donald Hamner and Dr. Tory Torma.

The hours at Ephraim McDowell Walk-in & Primary Care are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Ephraim McDowell Walk-in & Primary Care is located at 1541 Lebanon Road, Suite #1.  For more information, please call (859) 236-3208.
