Ephraim McDowell Health’s Chief Financial Officer, Amanda Kinman, has been recognized in Becker’s Hospital Review. The trade magazine has included Kinman in its 2024 list of 156 women hospital and health system CFOs to know. The list of honorees is based on nominations and editorial research by Becker’s.
The article notes that Kinman joined Ephraim McDowell Health in August 2019 as system director of finance and was named chief financial officer in August 2021. Throughout her tenure, she has demonstrated expertise in leadership, relationship building, community service, strategic planning, contract negotiations, budgeting, cost savings, financial analysis and management, forecasting and more, according to the article. It further noted that since becoming the CFO, Kinman has driven continuous performance improvement, employee engagement and community partnerships.
Kinman also is the director of the Kentucky Healthcare Financial Management Association and serves on numerous committees, including the information services steering committee.
