Ephraim McDowell Health will provide free health screenings during the Danville Juneteenth Community Event and Lunch on Thursday, June 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Jennie Rogers Community Center in Danville. The screening event will take place as part of the community’s Juneteenth celebration and lunch gathering.
Community members are invited to visit the Ephraim McDowell Health booth to receive free screenings and health education services aimed at promoting prevention and early detection. Health screenings that will be offered are A1C screenings, cholesterol screenings, blood pressure checks, body composition analysis, take-home colorectal cancer screening kits (over age 45), and one-on-one health counseling.
