Our nursing team is on the Pathway to Excellence journey. As a result, we are creating and sustaining a culture of nursing excellence. Our nurses use our new Nursing Professional Practice model daily. The Nursing Shared Decision Making Councils make decisions for the nursing staff. In addition, we benchmark quality measures through the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI).
Providing outstanding health care to our communities is possible because of the people who work for us. We hire the best people who want to make a difference in someone’s life. Because of that, we can provide excellent care. We offer many rewarding careers in the health care field. The positions we have are in both clinical and non-clinical areas. As a result, we can employ a wide variety of people. We want to hire you if you have compassion and a caring spirit.
Nurses comprise our largest workforce at our three hospitals. Those hospitals are Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, and Ephraim McDowell James B Haggin Hospital. Our nursing philosophy recognizes each patient as an individual. We use evidence-based practices to deliver patient- and family-centered care. We do this through effective communication and collaborative efforts of nursing services, ancillary departments, and medical staff.
We invite you to see all we offer and talk with our Human Resources team about the available careers. We’re eager to welcome you to the Ephraim McDowell Health team!
