Dr. Mackenzie Prewitt has joined the staff at Ephraim McDowell Central Kentucky Surgeons.

Dr. Prewitt is a board-eligible, recent graduate of the University of Kentucky’s General Surgery Residency Program. She also received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Prewitt has special interests in gallbladder pathology, abdominal wall hernias, colon resections, colonoscopies, hemorrhoidectomies, and all emergency general surgery. 

Dr. Prewitt recently moved to Danville, KY, with her husband Omar, 4-month-old baby girl Shea Jameson, and black cat Opie. She enjoys yoga, spending time with her family, reading fiction, golfing, and traveling.
