Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital (EMJBHH) is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care. Danielle Ford, R.N., an acute care nurse, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award. A resident of Marion County, Danielle has been caring for patients at EMJBHH since November 2019 and within the Ephraim McDowell Health system for nearly ten years.
She was nominated for the award by a patient’s family member who said, “Danielle went above and beyond to give exceptional care. I truly believe she was God sent to make my grandmother’s last days meaningful. EMJBHH is very lucky to have a nurse that is so compassionate about the care of others and she deserves the praise.”
Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day. Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital and Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital.
