Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital (EMJBHH) is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care. Kelly Jackson, R.N., a nurse in the Emergency Department, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award. A resident of Lincoln County, Kelly has been caring for patients for over four years and has been with EMJBHH for the past year as an emergency nurse.
She was nominated for the award by a patient’s family member that said, “Kelly is most deserving of the DAISY Award; she saved my husband’s life. She explained everything that was happening and made sure my husband and I were both comfortable. She is the best nurse we have ever had and the world needs more nurses just like her.”
Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day. Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital, Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital and other Ephraim McDowell facilities.
