Ephraim McDowell Heart & Vascular Institute welcomes Samantha DeWitt, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. Samantha is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Associate degree in Nursing through Bluegrass Community and Technical College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky and her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Samantha started as a patient care tech at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center (EMRMC) in 2007 and began her nursing career as a registered nurse in the emergency department at EMRMC in 2010. She became a nurse practitioner in 2016 and continued to provide care to emergency room patients as an APRN.
Samantha lives in Salvisa with her husband, Josh and their two children, Raylan and Ava. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, four-wheeling, fishing, going to church and reading/listening to books.
Ephraim McDowell Heart & Vascular Institute is located at 216 West Walnut Street and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
