Ephraim McDowell Health is sponsoring a free health screening at the Mercer County Farmers’ Market (560 Linden Avenue) in Harrodsburg on June 7. The screenings will be offered from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Health screenings that will be offered include blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, and take-home colorectal cancer screening kit (over age 45). After the screenings are complete, participants will have the opportunity to discuss their results with a licensed health professional. The screenings are open to the public for anyone 18 years and older. 

Additionally, Ephraim McDowell Health will be passing out free sunscreen, lip balm, apple slicers, and resistance bands to all participants. For more information, please call Ephraim McDowell Health’s Community Service Department at (859) 239-3562.
