The Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation is thrilled to announce the success of its second annual Tiptoes and Tuxedos Father-Daughter Dance. The event, held to create cherished memories while supporting community health initiatives, raised an impressive $8,150.30 for the Foundation.
This year’s dance welcomed 163 attendees, making it a memorable evening filled with exciting highlights. Guests were delighted by appearances from Cinderella and Prince Charming, the beloved Chick-fil-A cows, and a live DJ that kept the dance floor lively. A special sensory room, provided by Kids Can Do Pediatric Therapy Center, ensured an inclusive and comfortable experience for all attendees. In an effort to make the event accessible to all, the Foundation provided ten scholarships to children experiencing hardship, ensuring at least one child from every county in our region had the opportunity to participate in this special evening.
“The growth of Tiptoes and Tuxedos in just its second year is truly remarkable,” said Laura Richard, Executive Director of Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation. “Seeing so many fathers and daughters come together for an evening of joy while supporting a meaningful cause speaks volumes about the generosity and spirit of our community.”
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation’s initiatives, funding critical health and wellness programs throughout the region. Events like Tiptoes and Tuxedos help further the Foundation’s mission of enhancing the healing environment provided by Ephraim McDowell Health through philanthropic leadership and community engagement.
The Foundation extends its gratitude to all attendees, sponsors, and volunteers who contributed to the event’s success. Special thanks to our Premier Partners for 2025, Farmers National Bank and Danville Office Equipment, our Presenting Sponsor, Chick-fil-A Danville, and our Event Sponsors, Doodles and Dots, Sweets by Cindy, and Giggles and Grace for their generous support.
