Ephraim McDowell Health welcomes oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Justin R. Kolasa, D.M.D., M.D., to the medical staff.  He has joined the practice Danville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery & Dental Implant Center, located at 400 South Fourth Street in Danville.

Dr. Kolasa earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2008 from the University of Kentucky.  He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) in 2013 and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 2016, both from the University of Kentucky.  He completed a general surgery internship in 2017 and an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in 2019. 

Dr. Kolasa has a special interest in facial trauma, pathology of the jaws and face, corrective jaw surgery, and implant reconstruction.  He lives in Garrard County with wife, Dr. Katrina Kosala, and their dog Petey.  During his free time he enjoys golf, fishing, shooting, and spending time with his wife and dog.
