Ephraim McDowell Central Kentucky Surgeons welcomes general surgeon, Katrina Kolasa, M.D.  She has joined the team of Drs. Paul P. DeLuca, John H. Lacey, David O. Montgomery, George Swope Munday and Tin Tran whose practice provides physician staffing at the clinic.

Dr. Kolasa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2009 from Eastern Kentucky University.  She earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2013 and completed her general surgery residency in 2018 at the University of Kentucky.  

Dr. Kolasa is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery.  She has a special interest in breast cancer surgery, anti-reflux procedures, hernia repair, as well as bowel and colon surgery.  She lives in Garrard County with her husband, Dr. Justin Kolasa, and their dog Petey.  During her free time she enjoys baking, fishing, reading, and spending time with her family.
