Ephraim McDowell Heart & Vascular Institute welcomes retired Colonel, Stephen K. Hall, MSN, APRN, NP-C. Stephen will join the practice on January 4.
Stephen is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has more than 35 years of experience. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg, VA, and his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky.
Stephen was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the U.S. Army, and the Army Nurse Corps, in 1987. During his career he had numerous assignments in the United States and overseas culminating as the Chief Nursing Officer at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany. He is the recipient of the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, and is a member of the prestigious Order of Military Medical Merit for significant exemplary contributions to the United States Army Medical Department. He retired from the U.S. Army in 2018 with 30 years of active-duty service.
Stephen lives in Lebanon, KY with his wife, Diane. They have four children and seven grandchildren. During his free time, he enjoys church, family, fishing & hunting and attending UK football and basketball games.
Ephraim McDowell Heart & Vascular Institute is located at 216 West Walnut Street and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
