Ephraim McDowell Heart & Vascular Institute welcomes interventional cardiologist, Thomas Goff, M.D., to the practice. Dr. Goff will begin on April 16 and is joining Dr. Aslam Ahmad, Dr. Gary Grigsby, Frank Koroluk, PA-C, and nurse practitioners Megaan Turner, Samantha DeWitt and Stephen Hall.
Dr. Goff earned his Bachelor of Biological Science from Transylvania University, his Master of Biomedical Science from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and his Medical Degree from the University of Kentucky. He completed an internal medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a cardiovascular fellowship and interventional cardiovascular medicine subspecialty fellowship at the Ohio State University Medical Center. He also has training in endovascular medicine and peripheral vascular interventions at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He is board-certified in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology. Dr. Goff treats a variety of conditions including all aspects of cardiovascular care, endovascular care, cardiac interventional procedures and peripheral vascular interventional procedures.
Dr. Goff and his wife, Gretchen, are native Kentuckians. After medical training, the family has been back in Kentucky since 2009. They have a daughter who is a sophomore at the University of Kentucky, a son, who is a senior in high school and another son who is in eighth grade. They enjoy traveling and golfing with both of their sons who are avid golfers.
