The board-certified physicians (otolaryngologists) at Ephraim McDowell Ear, Nose & Throat diagnose and treat a broad scope of conditions in both pediatric and adult patients. Common conditions treated at the office include facial fractures, obstructive sleep apnea, dysphasia, foreign bodies in the ear or nose, and laryngeal cancer or cancer of the ear, nose, or throat. In addition, our physicians also diagnose and treat vestibular and balance issues as well as hoarseness, sore throats, and snoring. The physicians also perform surgery, including tonsillectomy, mastoid surgery, and placing tubes in the ears of small children.

The office is also staffed by a certified audiologist who provides hearing tests and also fits patients for hearing aids. Patients complete a 15-minute hearing test in an audiology booth inside the office, and then the molds are made for the patient’s hearing aids, which typically are available to be picked up within a week.

Our physicians also treat sinus and allergy conditions. In addition, we provide allergy injections to patients.

Our physicians support patients throughout the diagnosis and treatment of the problem that brings them to our office. We develop a plan of care that is personalized to each patient.
