Services
We can provide services to your business through our Danville office. In addition, we can come on-site to your location. Plus, diagnostic services are available at multiple locations. As a result, services are convenient for you and your employees.
Occupational Health services offered on the basement level of our 101 Daniel Drive, Danville location are available by appointment Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call (859) 239-3484 to schedule.
Services include:
- Baseline/Pre-employment Physicals: DOT, CDL and non-DOT physicals are performed by a licensed healthcare provider who understands the demands of work and industry.
- Audiometric Testing: This on-site test collects and validates all demographic and exposure data to ensure OSHA compliance. Testing provides regularly-scheduled results compared to baseline data with onscreen audiogram graphs updated in real time.
- Vision Screening: We provide Snellen Chart vision screening as part of pre-employment physicals as requested.
- Immunizations: Immunizations are available to help protect employees from common illnesses including Tetanus (Tdap), Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and MMR. At your request we can provide employees with annual flu vaccine clinics or other annual immunization needs.
- Pulmonary Function Testing: This test can help identify when lung function is beginning to decline. As a result, this can be addressed with treatment or work modification when done at baseline and then again for surveillance. Pulmonary function test results are interpreted by comparing the individual’s results with the results predicted for a person of the same gender, age, height and race (all demographic factors that may be associated with differences in lung performance).
- Post-offer Employment Testing: Our occupational therapist is trained to provide post-offer employment testing. Thus, this ensures that potential new employees are able to perform the physical demands of the essential job functions of the position for which they have applied.
Services at Your Location
- Provider Visit: Schedule our licensed healthcare provider to be on-site for a number of designated hours per week or month to meet your needs.
- On-site Registered Nurse Access: Schedule an on-site nurse to be a resource to your employees. Also, we can treat both work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses. In addition, the nurse can support your safety program through education, workers’ compensation case management by following up directly with a physician to minimize lost work days, FMLA or disability claims administration and as a health coach.
- On-site Injury Prevention: A professional OT/OTA/PT/PTA/ATC will focus on injury prevention. As a result, employees are engaged before injury occurs. This will limit recordable injuries, lost work time, and/or workers’ compensation claims. Call (859) 239-3484 to schedule any of the following services with our occupational therapist/early intervention team.
- Job Coaching: We will work alongside your employee, providing education on improved body mechanics, lifting mechanics, work flow, job modification and compensatory strategies to complete work tasks and decrease pain and risk of musculoskeletal injury.
- Workstation Ergonomics: We can assess your employees’ office and workstation ergonomics to decrease risk of musculoskeletal disorders. Included are recommendations for workstation design and equipment changes, and stretching that may be beneficial.
- Job Demands Analysis is a detailed ergonomic assessment and job safety analysis of a work area, breaking down each job into tasks with recommendations for changes to decrease risk of musculoskeletal injury or for post-injury.
- Job Description Writing incorporates the physical demands of the essential functions of the job that includes walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, coordination, sitting, standing and more.
- Pre-shift Exercise Programs are designed for employees to refer to and use per company policy and/or as needed for injury prevention.
